I have got to go to Lisbon as my friend staying at my villa was injured in a car crash and is in hospital there which is easier and quicker coach or train?
Thanks
John

For me personally definitely Coach. Even cheaper if you are of pensionable age.
It's a great service and if you take into consideration the trip to Tunes and the wait, very easy.

Sounds a good idea, presumably this is from Lagoa?....do you have other info please? eg do you need to book?....how much?...how often....is there a timetable somewhere?

Hopefully its OK to leave a car by the bus/coach station overnight?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, from Lagoa, easy parking.
All the info is on line at eva- bus.com. I normally go to the ticket office there, in the morning and pre order my ticket, with proof of age. The Guy is really amusing and very helpful. Also hostess on board and there is one stop on the way.
Loads of Taxis at the Bus Station at Lisbon.
Enjoy

I have used the coach from Lagoa several times and can recommend it. It takes 3 hours from Lagoa to the terminal at Sete Rios and I have not experienced a stop on the way but there has been a toilet on board. The coach has wi-fi which is very useful and drinks and snacks can be purchased from the hostess. From memory the return ticket price for a senior citizen was 32 or 34 euros.
