Rascals name changed to Atlantic View yesterday

Yes we only realized, after we had been sat there nearly an hour we had wandered in on the opening night quite by accident.The GNR paid them a visit,the Elvis act was apparently making too much noise.

Apparently the famous 'mandy' who had had several bars in Cvo and actually ownes the building has rebranded it as a champagne and oyster bar! Not something I'd thought would be popular but hey ho

Just returned from Atlantic View after a gorgeous 'carnival' afternoon - really enjoyed it and will definitely return. Since Rascals closed we have really missed the peace and view from there - priceless. As I understand it, the menu has not yet been decided but there was mention of Moules Marinere, Quiches etc. and so didn't get the impression it will be a solely 'oyster and champagne bar' I personally have just enjoyed a very nice glass of Rose and my Husband had a beer.( Well a couple actually )!!

Where was you yesterday popped in to atlantic view and is was closed, I am in carvoeiro later will you be there or is it open and I will buy you and your husband a drink.

As far as I am aware Atlantic View is only open from Thursdays to Sundays at the moment, I think from midday until 'last orders'. They have their 'official opening' on Saturday. Many thanks for the offer of a drink!

Apologies - I am incorrect! Atlantic View is open from 4pm on Thursday and Friday and midday on Saturday and Sunday of this week and am not quite sure regarding next week.

I am a little confused grand opening on Saturday does this mean free champagne and oysters? And the bar is closed next week? Also did you not have a grand opening two weeks ago?
I am going away so maybe you will have another grand opening any when I return

A couple of weeks ago it was an opening night for staff and a few friends, this Saturday it is the 'official' opening! Don't think oysters and champagne will be provided but some food will be put on. Regarding next week, yes it will be open but I am not sure whether the hours and times will increase or remain the same for now.

As I explained before, there was an official opening extended to all on Saturday 13th February and at the moment the bar is open on Thursdays and Fridays 4pm onwards and midday onwards on Saturdays and Sundays for now and so no they would not have been pen on Monday 15th!!!
