Swimming pool now overflowing !!!!!

Lovely sunny Autumnal afternoon here in West of Scotland. A spot of leave sweeping and dead heading before 4pm football match...............and a glass of vino!

Scotland obviously the place to be! It's finally fair ( for the moment). Theres been 105mm of rain today which is more than the whole of wet October and is a third of the 2015 rainfall of 317mm.
Wonder what the record is for rainfall in one day in Carvoeiro??

Hope the weather improves as we're arriving tomorrow for ten days!!

Weather bad until Thursday 5th November. Yesterday was grim, torrential rain, thunder & lightening and power cuts all afternoon. Spent most of the day resetting the alarm, the internet tv and all the bloody clocks that stop every time the power goes off !

Please anyone venturing out for a walk now the sun is shinning remember that weather like we have experienced yesterday can cause rock falls so be cautious, especially on the cliff tops and the beaches below.

Amendoeira golf resort lost 3 bridges in yesterday's floods !

Lovely days golfing in the sunshine at Clandeboye yesterday here in Nord Iron, however, a few extra Guinness in the clubhouse did result in having to drive home in thick fog.

I believe some of the restaurants on restaurant hill were flooded too

a friend sent me a 9 second video clip of a lane in Old Town Albufeiro...............dirty brown water rushing down the lane and judging by how close water level was to the canopies above the shop windows, must be al least 7 or 8 feet deep!!!
