We are currently staying in Aerias dos Moinhos and the mem and I were just lounging by the pool when a drone came over! Sounded like a hedge trimmer so hardly stealth technology but I am not very happy. On the assumption it was mounting a camera, I gave the international recognition signal - middle finger extended. It dipped and flew off at that, then returned. I looked over the wall and saw a couple standing outside their car, controlling the drone. They scarpered when they saw me. Very odd. Not perving I guess, so were they casing our villa and others?

Is quite incredible how quickly the criminal fraternity adopt new technology for their criminal activites. I'd suggest if repeat happens, try and jot down car reggy details.

We saw a couple whilst we were over in July - the seagulls had great fun chasing the first one all the way down to the beach - hope they got it

It made me wonder what sort of pervert was flying a drone over the swimming pools of the villas on the hill up from the Jailhouse
