The Discoveries Lodge of English Freemasons based in Lagos are this year holding a Summer get together.

Come along and find out more about the sterling work that Freemasons carry out for charity.

Sunday 30th August at the Boa Vista Golf course, Lagos/Luz

7pm for 7.30pm, dress code: Smart casual

Three course meal with 1/2 bottle of wine per person, water and coffee.

Music, charity collection (with prizes) and good company.

The price is €27.50 per person and this will include a small gift for the ladies.

The Summer party at the Boa Vista Golf Club was a huge success, the venue and food was excellent as was the company. Over €400 was raised for local charities, the next event will be a pre-Christmas Lunch at the Tivoli Hotel, Lagos. This will be a three course lunch (superb food with wines) for €30.00 per person, ALL are welcome.

Is there a ladies lodge in the Algarve. I live in Carvoeiro ?

No ladies I'm afraid Gaynor but there is the Lodge of Peace and Harmony which meets at the Tivoli Almansor in Carvoeiro if Gary is interested which has an active social side for the ladies.

L. of I. meetings are every Monday commencing 19.00 and regular meetings with dinner are the first Thursday of the month commencing normally 17.00 but sometimes varied depending on the programme.

I would be delighted to pass on further details and meet Gary, or indeed any other Mason or prospective Mason, to introduce them to the other members.
