Hi all,

This time last year I'd just returned from a lovely week in Carvoeiro for the first time (with my Wife). I was smitten....absolutely smitten! Loved it.

Anyway this year holiday plans have taken a back-seat until things changed last week. Now I'm scrambling around trying to find a Villa with a priv. pool within walking distance of the Town (we liked our little walks to the beach). I fear I may have left it too late.

One agency has a couple remaining up near the little resort where the Elliots restaurant is and the Jazz club, but I'm looking for something nearer. We stayed in Villa Moita on Rua do Cerro, so anything around that distance would be great.

Sadly I can't find anything that isn't £3,000!!

Anyone any ideas? There is a drink in it for you and my undying respect

I think you'll find Monte Carvoreiro (Elliots et al) is as close, if not closer than Rua do Cerro - I would take that if it's still going.

This is available however Google shows construction.

Can anyone confirm where this is?

The Guy (Luis) says that the pool is for Villa use only.

I don't understand. Are these individual Villas or a complex?

Woohoo, finally managed to book the place on the front.

The other one (up near Elliots restaurant) went, even though the lady was "holding" it for us. Shocking really.

Ahh well...I'll see you all in July somewhere....Obrigado!!
