Recently returned to blighty and once again AlgarveDriver/YOR provided a great service. When booking the car a couple of months previously I contacted Steen to say I had found another company offering the same group of car around €40 cheaper. YOR say they will match any like for like price and that's just what they did. Arrived Faro around 1100 hrs and made our way to P4 to collect the car. Just one couple in front of us at the van/office. Within 10 minutes my passport/licence/booking form were checked. Scratches (very minor) had been noted on the rental form. Paid the €20 transponder fee for the A22 tolls and off we went. The fuel tank was full (unusually) so simple matter of returning it full. Fiat Panda was trouble free throughout.
We kept a check of the toll charges as we buzzed up and down the A22. The €20 fee provides you with €15 to spend on tolls. We actually exceeded this by just under €5. The company do say that any excess will be charged in increments of €10, so I was expecting this charge to my account. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be charged just €5. Next trip is September, so will be booking with them again. Working towards my free loyalty bonus weeK!
