Does anyone know if you can get groceries, specifically water and wine /alcohol, delivered by any of the supermarkets / minimarkets in / near Carvoeiro? We have rented a 9 bedroom villa in September so there will be a lot of us and having these bulky items delivered would be so much easier.

If you are driving to Carvoeiro, cars/minibus, you will pass several supermarkets on the road into CVO. It will be a good start to your holiday, arguing about who wants what and who pays for what. Have a great time.

There was a previous topic on this, but cannot find it and cannot remember outcome.

We've stayed in Carvoeiro many times so we know the supermarkets, but we've never had this many people staying so delivery of water etc would be so helpful. Somebody told me that Pingo Doce do it?

Pingo Doce only do it in some stores (Lisbon, Porto, Braga, Póvoa de Varzim).

You have to register and shop online. The delivery has a fee if the total is under 125€.

We are trying to arrange Home delivery from Jumbo,

Its asking for a Nº Contribuinte? (Vat Number), As we are not Portugese residents are we able to supply any other number?

I know in Spain we were asked to provide a passport number instead but there doesnt seem to be an option for that over at Jumbo,

Ask the maid to do it for you & pay her accordingly.
