What is Poco Partido like - especially the Villa Poco Partido (I think that's what it's called - it has a tennis court and is set in quite large gardens apparently). Is there any road noise there or building works (around the villa)? How long does it take to walk to CVO? Thanks.

Poço Partido is a small place outside Carvoeiro. I guess it is about 4kms along the road towards Lagoa. Not the most beautiful spot but provided you have a car it is well situated for beaches and Carvoeiro itself. Large Intermarche supermarket close by and also a smal mini market. There is a local bar there as well but it is very local if you know what I mean!
Not sure about Villa Poço Partido but this might be the big villa behind what was Restaurant Poço Partido but now renamed.
You shouldn't get too much road noise there I think.
Note the accent on Poço which makes for a soft "c" as in "posso" and which means a well. Poço Partido = broken well
