Roads blocked in the square

Looking at the webcam, it looks like the road is blocked off, is it anything to do with the sea invading the square. Anyone know

Perhaps the topic headline was a little too strong, seems lots of people have looked at my post but no one has given a reason! Anyway, road blocks now gone. Perhaps no one cares.
