Having braved the desolate wastelands of Yorkshire for another year we are having a well-earned week in Carvoeiro commencing Saturday 19th April and it cannot come soon enough!
However, it has just entered my usually empty head that the day after our arrival is of course Easter Sunday, I was wondering therefore if some of you knowledgeable folks could advise me what is and isn't open on Sunday (or Monday come to that!) and are there any festivals over the weekend.

Only Uk Have Monday after Easter as a holiday, Everything is open as usual. Shops only close on Christmas Day, New Years Day and most on May 1st (May Day ).
