Hi there coming over for a special holiday next year with all the family, nees a 12 seater for the 2 week stay, can't eem to find anyone who does this do you know of anyone who does ?

Could it be that 12 seaters are regarded as a "bus " and are covered by different rules to normal hire vehicles.?

I have never seen anything bigger than a 9 seater advertised for hire around here in the 15 years I have visited.

I believe you have to have a special license or permit to drive anything bigger.

When we were there as a family group we hired 2 cars. This also gives you the flexibility if people want to do different things or only a few people going out.

Unfortunately 9 seats (driver + 8 passengers) is the maximum allowed in Portugal for a rental vehicle.
