Local gyms

Hi All, I'm following up on previous queries. Can you provide an update on gyms within Carvoeiro town itself. Many thanks.

There is one in the commercial centre opposite the fatacil in Lagoa and another at the Carvoeiro tennis club. Neither are state of the art but adequate especially if you want weights. Lagoa gym 15 euros a week closed Sundays. Think tennis club a bit more expensive

Monte Santo has a gym. You can get day membership to the resort.

The gym at the tennis club is currently being renovated, it's in working order but can be a tight squeeze at peak hours. Membership is about €29 a month at the moment because of the works

Vale d'Olivieras Spa and Hotel Resort has a gym which offers weekly, monthly or annual memberships.

I have used the Spa, really good and from what I saw the Gym is excellent. When we are over permanently we will use on a regular basis wihout a doubt.
