Most flights from the Uk are delayed with the exception of Bristol which if fortunate for our friends who are trvelling today.

Hi Emm,

Any idea what is happening with outbound flights to the UK? I'm supposed to be flying this afternoon. Any info much appreciated,

Craig

I would first check the departure board airport for your flight out from the UK.
This will show you if it is still scheduled.

Thanks Emm,
It doesn't look too good unfortunately. Oh well, more time to drink at extortionate airport prices I suppose,

Hi all,

Couldn't reply earlier cos the computer went silly.
I'm back in the East End now after a delay of about an hour at Faro.
I did notice a couple of cancelled flights to Glasgow and Paris, but it was all fairly relaxed ( unless it was your flights cancelled ) so it was no big deal.

At Manchester Airport on Tuesday, several flights from Europe were delayed by approx 4 hours. This combined with a lack of baggage handlers meant a long journey home for some travellers

The latest arrivals all from the UK all seem to be delayed a bit.

According to Ryanair's website they have been told by the French authorities that strike action for Thursday 13th has been cancelled. Hope that is correct as we fly tomorrow evening.

That's what they have been saying on the BBC and Sky news today, so fingers crossed for you!

Thanks Jan. I hope so too. 8 hour delay from EMA today for the Ryanair flight this morning; could not cope with that. Had enough with the French last September when Brittany Ferries went on strike and we had to drive back to Calais. Even then the dock workers walked out as we arrived at the port leaving us with a further 3 hour delay.
