My sister-in-law returned from Faro last night and was subject to the strike of immigration officers at Faro. The queue to get through to the gates went back as far as the duty free shop.
Algarve resident has an article this week on the strike and its dates and will affect those landing at Faro as well.
So leave for the airport in good time in you want to catch your flight.

According to the article football fans will be hit the worst, definately check this out if your're travelling over Euro 2004.

The strike was forecast to begin this Thursday (May 13) and run until Friday, recommencing after May 27 and 28. Then there are more strikes planned for June 11, 12, 16 and 17.

The other half is a tranfer rep she had to go to seville to drop off and pick up. Not funny if you are here for week!!!
