Hi
I'm looking to see if anyone could give me a steer on the best way to sell my 2 bed apt/villa in Rocha Brava. Is there a specific agent
who is particuliarly good with reasonable rates. It was bought at the peak, modernised to a high standard and now is being sold at reduced rate
unfortunately, but that's life. However, do want to sell and would like to get it all concluded by end of August. Any views would be much appreciated, Irish owner.
Rgds :(

Rates of 3% should be available which is the good news the not so good is do not be too optimistic about selling quickly.
Go for a multiple listing, do not be convinced that it is worth paying a higher rate for an exclusive.
Look for agents who advertise on international sites such as Right Move etc.
Be prepared to spend a little money on bringing yours up to date, re decorate etc.
You have to make your stand out against so many others in the current market.
If you bought at the peak be preapred to take a substantial hit.

The estate agent we bought from has now retired. His daughter, Zoe, works at Winkworths in CVO. I do not know what they are like for costs, success rates or to deal with, but they are a well known UK company and have an International website. I think they also advertise on Rightmove and possibly others.
