Hi Does anyone know if there are fireworks in Portimao on New Years eve.

Hi Trish, According to the Portugal News last week, there will be fireworks along the beach at Praia da Rocha and Portimão. We are hoping to watch them from the church in Ferragudo with a bottle of bubbly as you get to see all of them from there. Happy New Year!!

Albufeira also has fireworks and a group playing in the square by the beach.

I believe that LICY will be hoping to create a few New fireworks in Carvoeiro!!

Time for Bo Bo's Brucie baby.

We saw the fireworks from the Feraguedo church last year....with bubbly and a mild, dry temperature....whilst the firworks were reportedly good in previous years, there was only a very short display, alternating from Praia de Roche & Portimao, barely 5 mins.....don't expect it will be better this year , due to financial situation....had a nice time at Jailhouse after though!
