severe weather warning?

we noticed on the weather forecast that there was a severe weather warning for carvoeiro just wondered what it was like or has been like out there?

Looks a bit damp on the webcam but there are a few people about.

Flooding in and around the Albufeira area was reported in the Algarve news yesterday/today, It has been wet and windy I believe

loud thunderstorm this morning and lots of rain, but cleared around 1pm to give lovely afternoon, up to 20 degrees,
just got back from the square, sitting in the sun

As Tricks says, severe thunder and downpour about 8 this morning. Sparodic rain up until lunchtime, then a glorious afternoon for our stroll around the Alvor boardwalk.
A good weather website to watch is instituto de meteorologia.IP Portugal
This site gives a good forecast and if you click on RADAR you can see the cloud radar display from the radar at the top of Monchique.
This shows exactly where the rain bearing cloud is.
Our gardener, who is never wrong about the local weather says this is the best forecast available.
