The last I heard he had a place in Silves but not seen or heard anything in the last year.

had an email from him last October with a map attached showing where they are now (which I can't seem to paste here).
Says they are "on the Silves to Messines road, located 300 mtrs on the right after you pass the turn off for the Barragem - look out for the sign".

Go past the barragem turn, next on right. Road goes back under the main road. About 100 metres there is an old farm which is a 2nd hand furniture place run by a German woman. Go through the gate and Dean is at the far end, Warning.....he isnt there all the time. We had to leave a message and go back at an agreed time.

I mailed him yesterday and he hasn't replied yet. He might have gone to Africa with his partner & child to see her family?

Dean is definitely still around - made us some lovely curtains earlier this year.
He is living someone near Centianes/Val de Milho and though he does have a store just outside Silves (as described) is happy to call at your house with samples.
