We have been adopted by a local cat " dogs have owners, cats have staff ".
He must have internet access as he turns up as we are unloading the car.
He has taken to " rewarding us " by leaving " gifts " by the kitchen door.
These have consisted of a few dead birds, a vole, geckos and lizards dead or close to death and even a small snake.
We have managed to rescue some and return them to the wild but he is cutting a swathe through the local wild life.

We also had a hen harrier fly into a patio door, shaken it flew into a tree , stayed there for a few minutes before regaining its strength and flying off.
It too left us a present on an outside sofa , a headless rat!!.

Aww as a cat lover I must say that cats choose you not the other way around. I wish our move out there would come quicker so we could have him. I have that problem in Holland, they just love Gary. Hope that someone can give him a good home, good luck, you ol' softy !

He will be making a visit to the vet when we are next back for his " Op ", de worming and jabs.

I know the situation, EMM.

My cat(she adopted me) comes in sometimes with "presents" such a a dead mouse or a disenfranchised and disemboweled toad! She brought in a sparrow one evening but the clever thing was playing dead. The minute she dropped it on the floor looking at me as though I am supposed to be grateful, the bird flew right out of the window. Maple was rather annoyed! Now if that was my Jack Russell, he could not give a sod. He was anybody's for a biccy!
