Hi all
I will be holidaying in CVO in early June. What is weather like around then? Are we talking 'sunny with breeze', 'hot and dry', 'skin-stripper hot' or just a bit muggy? Or does it get a bit rainy then? I've never been before so I need to know how many pairs of shorts I should take.
Thanks
Mal

Mal,
Take shorts, sunblock and leave the umbrella at home.
Perhaps one, very light, sleeved shirt for a possible cool evening.

Hi Mal, I am no expert but have been out to the cvo area for the past two years house hunting, came out most months so have got a bit of a 'feel' for the weather now. June should be good, gets hot and sunny during the day, especially in a sheltered area, 20 - 25 C usually, can change tho'. The hottest time is July and August when it really does get hot, but the thing I love about the area is that usually in the evening you get a breeze off the sea and it cools down enough to be really comfortable, even enough to carry a light jacket or (dare I say it!) a cardi !! v old fashioned as my daughters always tell me.
Can come in cloudy at times but with an area like cvo there are so many beautiful places to go and lovely areas to walk or ride that a cloudy day makes no difference to me.
Have a wonderful time, I am sure you will, hope you become another cvo fan and come back again.

Excellent. Thanks people. I shall definitely leave my cardi at home. Due to previous holidaying experiences I just had visions of turning up and it being flash-flood season or something.
