It will be my dad's 60th birthday party in two weeks and I know I have left it a little late but can anyone recommend a good place for getting a birthday cake. We are looking for someone that does proper cake decorating and with it being a major birthday we didn't want to just buy him one from the supermarket.

I live in silves so I am looking for one in the local area or the party is Lagos way so any there instead if there is not any in the carvoeiro or silves area.

I have just seen that Pickwick has referred you to Pasteraria Fabrica Velha on Rue Pescadores, Carvoeiro. We had an excellent birthday cake for my granddaughter's birthday from there last year (she was just 2 years old). In fact, we were so impressed that we'll be getting another one whilst we're in Carvoeiro for her 3rd birthday in July. I honestly think that you couldn't do better. Hope everything goes well.
