Faro to Carvoeiro, can anyone beat this?

My Aunt, daughter and friend hired a car from Faro last week and even after telling them to print off the pictured instructions and giving them precise location maps for the villa managed to take 3 and a quarter hours to get there. They say they didn't enter Spain either.

What can I say. Three women drivers (one behind the wheel and two on the back seat). I expect they had a good old chat though, and hardly noticed the other cars on the road. I bet it wouldn't have taken that long to find Algarve Shopping !

Thats some detour Mike!
Ours wasnt quite so long....just under 2 hours I think..long enough!
My friend picked me up from Faro okay...but although shes resident near CVO..shes not familiar with drive from airport..and...yep we strayed and was lost on some back road...we then got 'Portuguese' directions....and almost ended on that road to 'Espanha'!
I walked miles round CVO..Lagoa....Lisbon...think I could well qualify for next marathon
How much is it..to hire one of your bikes Bob? :)

…….reminds me of when I was little, and my aunt along with other female members of the family went missing for hours, and my uncle said they were having a chin-wag……..and I often wonder what he meant……

Sorry but I've done similar

Not quite so bad but from about 7 trips to CVO have only taken the right directions about twice. Just always seem to go wrong somehow.

What's worse though, I have printed off the 4 page directions. Last time used them and even though I thought I was wrong, I was on the right road. Will have a look at the one page directions.

This is an endorsement for Michael's one page direction sheet which he sent me this morning. It beats having to print and carry four pages. If now Michael, you can get the directions onto a business card, it would be fantastic.
