Qdp do not plan to reopen Trattoria Oliviera, which is a big shame as it was quite popular in the summer.

Thats a shame LB, it was handy to pop to for Pizza takeaway when we didnt want to go into town.

That's what QdP tell us.

QdP owners were notified in a recent letter from the management that Trattoria Oliveira would not re-open this year as usual. They're consolidating their food offer at the poolside bar/restaurant area and will provide meals plus a bar snack menu from there instead, so you should still be able to pick something up.

It's a shame as this was a good feature of QdP. Don't know whether the restaurant building is going to be put to another use or just mothballed though.

Thanks. You're right, it's a real shame. I'm surprised, as it was always so busy in the Summer, & must have made quite a bit of money..... only ate at the Restaurant once and it was awful food. Enjoyed the Trattoria's pizza & pasta. Mamma Mia will be pleased!

Maybe the poolside restaurant will do a similar menu?

We stay in Monte CVO and last Sept went back to Mamma Mia's for 1st time in a few years - lovely meal. Only 10 mins walk from QDP.

On Wednesday, Conni told me they didn't know what they would be doing with it but they would still need it for their wedding business. So many variations. There is a sig up saying ot will reopen in April but I will be surprised if it does.

Insider information? We did indeed receive this information today. It will be open from May to September serving starters, pizzas and desserts.
