If any kind soul is coming out to CVO in the near future, I would be grateful if they could pop in to Boots (airside at airports so no problem with liquids) and bring me some pholcodine cough mixture which seems to be the only thing to cure my post-flu cough and which is not available in Portugal.

We are not out for 4 weeks Roy but will be happy to get you some. Hopefully, someone else can help before then.

Thank you Farol for your advice and Andy for, hopefully, obtaining it for me. If you PM me on Monday I will pop round to collect it.

I may be in a minority but I feel that help like this, advice to others and personal news items is the prime purpose and value of the forum rather than some of the sarcastic sniping that goes on between one or two members :D

If you are sniping using blanks like dear old Pato, no harm - but the high velocity type which killed off poor Martin (come back Martin, most of us appreciate you !!) are what I was talking about.
I have had my first dose of pholcodine (thanks Andy) and reckon that in a couple of days you won't be able to live with me on the bowling green Pato

Whilst I hope not to get another dose of Portuguese (Man - according to Pato) 'flu, a reserve bottle would not go amiss thank you very much.

As a special reward I will reserve a prime seat at the bowling green for you to see a fit again Roy thrash his liverpudlian challenger
