Leroy-Merlin .....IMPRESSED!

We spent 550 euros on a radiator at Leroy Merlin, 23 months ago, and it failed yesterday.

We knew the date we bought it, but realised that the receipt is in my file in the UK.

SO.....more in hope than anticipation, receiptless, we took the duff radiator back to Le-Roy-merlin at Guia.

They couldn't have been more helpful. We knew the purchase date, and using my name and the amount spent, browsed their 2 year old receipts, finding my purchase.
They printed off a duplicate receipt and guarantee....agreed the radiator was a few days inside the guarantee, and sent the radiator back to the manufacturer under a warranty claim.

That was service, and all done with a smile.

Well done Leroy -Merlin. You'll certainly keep our custom!!

Should I be frightened of two men?   I know where Bruce lives and I bet I could soon find you.  I don't know BW as anything other than bright! Having said that 550 is very expensive for a radiator like Mac says. BW what sort of radiator was it, maybe you did not understand flying type, but what about all singing and dancing type of radiator? Anyway good to hear LM give such good customer satisfaction. (Just like me       ).

Only can say we returned some lights, but we had the receipt and it had only been just over a month and no quibble. They were not faulty, just bought too many.

BW on another matter are you sure MAKRO do not deliver I am sure I read on the forum before that they did. Otherwise I need a strong man to get me 6 sun loungers. xxxx
