Can anyone help please ? I need advice regarding purchase and instalation of replacement ceiling speakers and getting my i-pod to synch with amp at our place on Pinta. Tried RJ Tecnica in town and Silva in Lagoa but they don't seem interested... will gladly pay for call out. Many thanks and Happy New Year.

I sync my iPad to my amp using an Apple airport express but I have my main PC in the same house?

Plug the airport express into the mains and then connect your amp to it using a digital optical cable. The AE should connect to your source wirelessly. Alternatively buy a an iPod dock for your amp or buy a dock with speakers and forget the ceiling?

If you are going to invest in the sound system, I would suggest you have a look at Sonos. The system will give you full control of the ambient music in your house from your iPhone or tablet and you can cross-link it to any media source (iPod, TV, DVD). As it is a modulated system, you can expand it by adding modules as required (terrace, bedrooms, kitchen, etc)

If you Go into hemingways or Improvisto and ask them if the can get in touch with Joan Rocha whos family own the premises called Rochas just behind those bars. He does all of that stuff, I have not got his number on me at the moment but he is very useful and reasonable costs.

The Sonos solution mentioned is the best there is for wireless connection.
