Well, Dublin airport was very quiet last night unless that has something to do with the spanking brand new Termimal 2. :)

Not sure about Ryanair peak time baggage fares but the gales across the Irish sea on the approach to Aerfort Bhaile Átha Cliath were certainly at its peak!

Me too, but, Mandy would get upset. :D

To hell with mr o'deary and his company, he may realise people are counting the pennies and want better value for their money, not some Scrooge trying to fleece customers one way or another. BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT. 8)

Ryanair are no good to me as they don't go from Gatwick and I am not prepared to travel to Stanstead just to get a cheap flight. I have always been happy with EJ as they are usually the cheapest. We did travel back on Monach on 4.12.11 and I think their seating is more generous than EJ. We have also flown Aerlingus and I was happy when they introduced their new route of Gatwick to Faro. Sadly they seemed to stop that a year later. I travel light, no drawers. Only ever take hand luggage. Having said that our friends love taking luggage whether they need it or not. This now means on 30.12.11 I have to leave home 4.15am for the 6.30am flight and then lose a bit of time on 4.1.11 in checking in the luggage. To boot we have to wait for the damn case too. It tends to get a bit expensive on the low cost airlines when you add luggage and worst of all golf clubs.

Isn't it cheaper to rent the clubs from the pro shop, that way they don't get in the way and they can be a good excuse for a crap round !!
