Hi all,

Quite new to the Algarve and was hoping to light up the outside of the house in the late hours...

I was looking for any ideas/experieces with regard to using those lights which charge up during the day and are used for the outside area of the house/garden.

Does anybody have them ? And if so are they bright enough ? (It probably depends on the weather I know  )

Thanks

Mario

Hello Forza

I have some and they work fine. You need quite a few tohugh as they are not very bright. Whatever you od do not even think about buying them from the guys that advertise in the resident (Solar perfect.......perfect rip off) They sell one light for about 60 euros, and make out they are doing you a favour. You can get a box of four for half that price on Ebay.

And if you buy locally make sure hey only charge you 5% IVA, which is the rate for any solar powered product.

happy lighting

Have seen a couple of models which all had two things in common: not very bright and only a few hours before they go out again.

Any advice on a model that lasts longer than 3-4 hours?
