Has there been much rain since Monday? We planted some shrubs and hope they are ok for water.

If it's not rained you could always nip round to Joanne's and help yourself to a bucket or two.

I hate to wish the bad weather on you, a few drops during the night would do.

When it rains here in the Algarve it RAINS!!
Several short, but very sharp rain storms in the last 3 days, and as Widge says.....infinity pools are coming back into vogue.
Word from the wise.......try and not let your pool flood over onto your garden....the chlorine will kill flowers, grass and shrubs.

Another thing to check for when we have the first heavy rain of the winter is that all the drains from roofs and terraces are clear.
I have removed two birdnests and bagfulls of leaves and other rubbish from outfalls in the last two weeks.
Had I not done so not sure whatt we would have found on our next visit.

Strangely enough, had a conversation today, late afternoon, in Rosa's Bar, Sesmarias (before the T & L) about the rain being warmer here than back home!! Will fnd out the difference on Saturday when back to "auld clathes and porridge".

Had a text from Bruce W, to say that a inch of rain had fallen in the past hour (but then again he's rubbish at measuring)
