I need to give the removal people a better address. What is the postal code for the foot of solferias and indeed is the road actually known as rampas do solferias?

Bit difficult when I live in Surrey and was trying to find it here on line but had no luck where I was looking. For some reason i cannot find the full address of the plot. There are people on the forum that live close to my plot so that would be good enough for me. Hopefully at the least someone could confirm whether it is 8200 or 8400.

It is 8400. We are on the hill going down the other side of the Solfeiras hotel and our post code is 8400 556.

Good Morning

The GPS co-ordinates which can be input into a Sat Nav are as follows and are available on Google Maps:-

37.102538,-8.466056

Police, bombeiros, ambulance and couriers all use these in Portugal due to the lack of road name signs!!!!

Pickwick

PS Just paste the co-ordinates into Google maps and you will see your plot

All you have to do is place your mouse over a location, right-click and select, "What's here?" to see the coordinates.

We are near the bottom of the hill just past the 4 cream town houses and on the same side as the town houses. I presume you are slightly higher up than that. You can always PM me.

I put the cordinates in google maps and sure enough found it. I now know it is 8400 and only guess work if it is 556. That should get them there. I printed off a map. Thanks - hope to see you soon. :P

I must really be a div. When I looked at the 2 maps it seems to show a different road and does not say ramps do solferias.

Licy, from my apt I can see an villa being reconstructed since Jan, behind the in road, on a very steep slope. 4 construction workers were busy last week knocking last of the old boundary walls and plastering the new build. over 3 floors and looks fantastic. would be well down from solfeiras. nearing completing but don't know if its yours.
