Just had a look at various Algarve webcams. The Lagos and Salema cams show thick fog! Can't remember ever seeing that in August/September. Praia da Rocha looks ok from the Hotel da Rocha webcam and the Tavira estuary in the east looks fine. You folks in Carvoeiro seem to have sun at present, but there are some greyish clouds to the right of the picture. Seems a bit of a mixed day weatherwise along the coast. The thickest fog at present seems to be at Porto de Mos.

Foggy here this morning but clear now. Apparently heavy rain forecast for tomorrow in the Algarve.

It has been a funny day today with light cloud for a while in the morning then it cleared up but now it is back again and is starting to look a little stormy up there so rain is probably on for tomorrow... I am sure it will clear up again soon tho'...

Looks like it is very heavy wet type of fog today....pouring down and forecast looks trash too....where is the Summer

Fog early that burns off in the morning isn't so unusual here, especially in the West.

its been a beautiful summer, perfect, not too hot, just lovely high 20's low 30's slightly cooler evenings.
True it did rain twice between June and today

Not a patch on the UK where they're basking in sunshine for the second time since June began, even got into the 20's a couple of times.

Where's the summer ?
Trash forecast ? - a couple of half cloudy / half sunny days , then back to sunshine and high 20's - get a life !

As i quoted in another thread last week on here, today and friday were/are forecast to be a little wet and thundery in the Algarve but it's forecast to clear by tomorrow night - and then the forecast says it's set fair for the week - but not so hot as the last couple of months.
Hope so anyway, as we arrive on Saturday morning.
