Is the beach quite safe? i fancy a little paddle but im not a very good swimmer ill have to get to the swimming pool and practice before i come over!

The water is great this year, nice and warm. Enjoy while it lasts. You never know when it can change.

That's not what you will say when you dip your toe in sea in September.

From what we have heard on the local radio and read in the papers we are lucky if the sea temp gets much above 23 degrees and that is at the end of summer.

It also depends which way the wind is blowing, can,t remember which is worst the SW or SE, one brings in cooler water.

Too cold for us we stick to the pool can reach 28degrees or more without heating.

It is due to the wind direction. When he wind changes it will be back to normal

Us scots arent afraid of a bit of cold
