I have some friends who are visiting Carvoeiro next week and are interested in renting for a day, a boat with a captain. They want refreshments and fun. Any suggestions? It is a group of 8-9.

You can find this activity available at any of the Marinas, in Lagos, Villamoura, Albufeira and Portimao.

I hate o be pedantic, but you charter a boat, not rent it

Having said that, there are a few nice looking yachts in Portimao and Alvor that fit the bill. Google algarve yacht charter and you will find them.
