We arecoming to Carvoeiro on the 13/4 - arriving at Faro airport with 3 children.

Can anybody advise what the opportunities for shopping will be on the Sunday, are there any super or hypermarkets locally thatwill be open?

Also cananyone recommend any local birdwatching sites

Hi Monica,

There is an Intermarche on the rhs of the road just before you come into Carvoeiro that opens on a Sunday, also most of the supermarkets are open in the village.

Steen - wasn't there an FAQ about the shops on this site? I've looked but can't find it - probably staring at me in the face!

As for birdwatching haven't a clue!! If it's not the feathered variety I'm sure my husband can help you in this department!!
