I can see that it's pi**ing down in Portugal and it's 24 degrees & sunny in Bristol. Very unusual is it a sign of climate change?

Let's not drag this old chestnut out and favourite of the last few years, whenever the UK is warmer and drier than the southern Med and Iberia, please!
Currently, HP is centred near to the UK dragging in southerly/SE winds - LP is near to Iberia giving rain at times - simples!

So sorry that the weather is so bad for Easter in Portugal, it always seems to rain for Carnival and
Easter. We have friends in Carvoeiro at the moment with 3 children it will be miserable for them
lets hope it picks up next week.

I left Faro at 5pm, by which time we had occasional short bursts of sun, but it also p*ssed down again several times.

Well, it's been like The Algarve here in Brunel's fair city for the last few days

-
today in the back garden must have touched 25 celsius, clear blue skies -beautiful - just sank a lovely glass of Pimms and lemonade - evening dinner being prepared right now of stuffed mushrooms, chicken & chirizo with pasta and garlic bread - and a lovely chilled bottle of rose wine - who needs to travel at the mo?

The wind has suddenly picked up and it's getting heavy. A storm brewing I think.

Another fantastic day down here in deepest Kent and we heard the first cuckoo - amazing for April

Must say I can't believe the change in the Algarve weather since we left last Friday

Hope it clears up by May

Warm and sunny again today here in Carvoeiro and the forecast is more of the same until the weekend
We did however have a tornado out at sea that could be seen from Carvoeiro beach on Thursday afternoon, really weird weather at the moment!
