when I am in Carvoeiro my "middle-age" leaves me,as I sit with back against wall on the praia,my legs bare and toes wriggling in the warm beige sands,i am rejuvenated as the sun from a bluebell sky shines down on my welcoming face and Im 21 again!
On a recent long vacation I was strolling up to Carvoeiros church when a tall goodlooking Portuguese man (30ish)gave me a lovely smile and said"Bom dia Senhora, how are you? I smiled back and said I was fine.As he passed he called to me again.I just smiled. My husband was sitting near church and saw it all - he got quite annoyed(I didnt help by laughingabout it -my son is 30!)I dont mind my husband having a harmless flirtation with pretty Portuguese ladies -its the spice of laugh wouldnt you say?And it keeps us all on our toes by not taking our partners for granted. My husband is tall and handsome too and I like to see women notice him - it keeps the spark of lovelife going as long as you dont hurt anyone, its a lot of fun. So, thank-you Carvoeiro ,not just for being a favourite spot, but for stimulating our sex life. Roll on September 6th &please keep the sun shining!Happy hols to you all!

How lovely and encouraging to read the 2 answers to my topic -thank-you-i made one error saying"spice of laugh"of course meant "spice of life!"
What an offer :filling in a form for stimulation! and there was i thinking it just needed to be "all in my mind" But thats "naughtie but very nice" Carvoeiro for you!
Of course, you realise, that all youve done now is made us even more frustrated for hot Carvoeiro ---- what a tease ! What with the rain splashing on the window,I only have the webcam for comfort and the dream of warm sand in my toes!
We will be staying Estrada do Farol Just past the road of Pensione .V.Baselli,and we dine most of time at Colombos -great steaks- what more could you want - good food,full-bodied wine & "stimulation"!! plus sun & sea - Carvoeiro is Heaven on Earth! Takes me back to age 17,a certain latin I knew (Italian),dark hair, brown eyes-----but thats another story!See you Sept.!

Who can wait for september -but we will have to;hubby is champing at the bit - and why should our son have all the fun! They think they invented it dont they?
Question is do Colombos have a licence -wonder what the girls there Eugenia & Anette would think of all this-lovely ladies.
Afraid steak will only be once a week treat -got to keep our waistlines! So most days Ill probably be the one munching "salad" sandwiches on the praia - toes wriggling in warm sand of course!
I may have given impression that we Nordic/ North women prefer Med.men----but---- theres a certain very attractive German(in Algarve)whowould give Sean Connery a run for his money and win ! So lets hear it for the "supposedly" cool North -- theres fire beneath the ice! Ate logo (probably spelt that wrong).

Wow ! What a combination - German & Portuguese-does your hot southern blood clash with a cool exterior ? Maybe not -I find cool quite a turn-on. The German man I know gives this impression, but his eyes (believe it or not ) are silver like his hair !( do you say silber auges & haar?)and Boy! do they send messages. Seduction is all -a certain smile - a look - a gesture - they are more alluring than some of the " all in the shop window " signs today.
My husband doesnt like "fishing" but he has an eye for the ladies, so he may find some something /someone to amuse him! all quite innocent Im sure!!
I write for a living and at moment working on a "Romanze" in Algarve - the chief character is a tall enigmatic German, who falls in love with an English lady - so ! I may need some help with German phrases - words of love especially - any offers please? If it is successful Ill treat all at Colombos -promise! Auf Wiedersehen, soon!

He waited at the carvoeiro steak restuaraunt, the summer heat was going way but his german cool hid the latin blood which was boiling with the excitement of their first meeting. Even though he had been in the secret service ,nothing but nothing could match the heady feeling of meeting a new woman ....he wondered what would she be like..tall?short?fat ?thin?blonde.?..... the combinations could be and would be endless.
They had met just by chance on the intenet, a few casual words had now cumlinated in their first meeting. he hoped she would be alone, her husband left behind on a pretext.
Numerous people at arrived and gone...couples mostly, but no indication of the person he was waiting for.
another glass of wine ...his fifth..and he had decided this would be the last .he would go as the last drop passed his lips. sitting at he bar he looked up for the miilionith time as the restuarent door opened.....she looked at him..and he knew....this was the one. the one who he had met only through words on a screen but knew and liked very much
To be continued.........
ps any offers of film rights welcome

This has got to be 007 !
You could teach me a few things ---on writing of course!
As for descriptions ---------- My username gives a clue or two-------Blonde, but naturally so, due to my Nordic/German roots on My Mamas side, but the "elle" bit is a tribute to my French grandmother ( a chique, but saucy dancer). i love to dance -- am learning Salsa!!(Trying to get in touch with something latin !).
My husband says my eyes are turquoise and i fit to his chest ----- hes 6 - 2in---- so i guess that makes me around 5-5in.
But thats enough! What about this secret agent ---what is going to be his makeup or will he be in disguise?
I cant concentrate on my work ----will i ever get this novel finished ? Im still waiting for help with "German phrases of love" Is there no one to advise me? All I know is Liebling ! and he will have to whisper more than that i think!Bis Naccher(see you later!)

WORKING TITLE. A PIRI PIRI AFFAIR.
As she passed he noticed her blonde hair had been turned golden by the algarve sun. dressed in warm red which compimented her hair, he wondered whether he had the courage to speak,
sitting nearby he looked up and saw her deep blue eyes gazing intently at him..she smiled and waved with her hand to join her at the table. he got up and taking his drink with him sat down.
it is said silence can say much,....as they looked into each other eyes they seemed already to know each other, about each other.
"i have wondered about you ellie" he spoke quitely.
"and i you" she replied in a whisper.
"can i say something before we..."
"yes tell me" ellie asked.
"um " he hesitated...the words so easy to think yet so hard to say
"i am afraid im not german or portuguese or 008"
Her gaze at him said it all
" i know" she said

Oh, Youre good, very good -------- but then, maybe not so good -that wouldnt be fun!

When a woman sits with legs crossed at knee, her toes will unconciously point outwards & upwards when shes attracted to a man.
It happened to me when innocently did this in a crowded room opposite The German Bond! His eyes saw the movement and his mercurial eyes met mine;suddenly, it was just the two of us.
When we met at other times, his eyes would look at my bare painted toes, then into my eyes. Whatever was he thinking ?

a piri piri affair.
the waitress arrived with the menus and asked if they wanted to order.
he looked at elle and in her eyes she said yes.
"yes please..give us 5 minutes" he said.
he looked around the room.
silently mouthing the words to looked at her
"husband?" he asked
"gone out on a boat" elle replied quietly.
The waitress returned.
"so ready to order?" she quipped.
"Yes" he spoke firmly" we willl have two steaks and salad and white wine
- is that ok elle?"
she nodded
the waitress took the menus and left. there was a long silence. elle moved her legs under the table and she touched his knee. he felt that it was like an electric shock. he looked into her blue eyes and smiled.
she gazed around the room and caught his eyes ...they were locked in a stare as thought his was the most wonderful thing he had seen..it was her
this wonderful, blonde woman he had met for the first time.
to be continued.....
ref film ...i have secured jack nicholson to play the man and meryl streep
as elle. demi moore as the waitress. they have all agreed of course and said it would be good for their careers.
