Good Afternoon all!

Far too long since I have contributed on here good to see it is still going strong.

Little bit of advice or a few tips would be greatly appreciated from all of you fine people :D

Looking to get away on holiday this summer with my girlfriend and would like to see what Carvoeiro could offer us. Were a young couple (22 and 21)on a smallish budget to be honest just about to be finding our feet in the real world after post grads etc... I stayed again last summer with family and loved it yet again!

If anyone could point us in the direction of some accommodation for the summer around the £300 - 400 pp bracket then that would be smashing

Thanks in advice for any kind offers of advice,

Rich

Casa Limao run by the Jailhouse couple is central and falls into that bracket, I will PM you Karen's email address.
Also Gama Club for self catering in Sesmarias , a couple of miles out, is worth a look :
gamaclub@netvisao.pt and
http://www.algarve-villarentals.com/vil ... index.html as well as other sites no doubt

Stayed in Solferias a few years ago - very basic and I don't think its been upgraded.
Read the reviews on Trip Advisor which are very mixed.
The hotel is situated at the top of the town and whilst its an easy stroll down to CVO centre the climb back up Cardiac Hill is no fun (especially after a few glasses of Sagres)!
