Due to a strike by airtraffic controllers in Spain there are no flights to or from Spain or within Spanish air space.

Some UK flights to Faro have been cancelled anyone flying later today should check to see if their flight is still operating.

We were due to return to Faro on Friday 3rd but that flight was cancelled as Gatwick was closed due to the snow. So we re-booked for Saturday 4th lunchtime. We arrived at the airport, went through to departures - all looking great until 45 minutes before we were due to take off and they cancelled again due to the Spanish air traffic control strike. The next available flight for us is not until Monday 6th morning

Sky News is saying that both Easyjet and Ryanair have cancelled all their flights to and from Portugal and Spain for today (Saturday 4th).
