I am trying to establish if anyone has in the past , had trouble in requesting that their management charges be sent to them in English instead of Portuguese currently I am been told this is not possible, could anyone enlighten me.

Insist on them being in English - you are the client and you pay the bills. If they don't conform - refuse to pay and/or get a new management company. Careful not to choose Mazza though - you will get them in Serbo Croat

I had no problem having mine sent to me in English and I used a Dutch Management Company

We use a Dutch company and always get everything in English....

You could always type the details into one of the free Portuguese to English translation sites and click the translate button. Just Google 'Portuguese to English' and you will find a few such sites available. Although, as previously said, I don't see why you should have to.

We use Kalkbrenner in the village and always get them in English. Great service and great people.
