Christmas/ New Year entertainment

Hi Everyone,
Arriving Carvoeiro on 28th Dec until 4th Jan.
Looking for any entertainment during this time especially new years eve.
I hear Vale De Pinta golf club have new years eve dinner with music.
Any suggestions welcome.

Last year A Vela did a really good dinner on New Year's eve' & they had a very good Irish band playing live.

I see that Bon Bon in Sesmarias will be charging 70 euros plus drinks....the Ponte Romana in Silves are organising a dinner party for the new year´s eve. It costs 45€/person forthe dinner, wich includes starters, soup, fish course, meat course, desserts, coffee, drinks and sparkling wine to celebrate midnignt. There will be music with j.j.jonhs ( a country music singer).......anyone been there?

A Vela is on the out road opposite the Old Market on the corner of the road into Monte Dourado.

Never been to A Vela , but have heard good reports. Isn't it rather small though? Any idea of NYE prices?

I loved Christmas in Algarve when we lived there..the Lagoan lights and better still the lights in Portimao...can't wait to move back

We are also out at NYear and A Vela sounds like a plan,prices would be great
