Bristol flights just released have booked 3 at prices probably at least 60% of what we ended up paying last year. Includes August Bank holiday weekend.

Booked ours last night from BTL for next September - £100 return each and that includes a Saturday morning flight out to Faro, so well pleased considering the oil prices, clawing back by tour operators for volcanic ash losses, etc.
We could've saved another £20 each if we'd flown out midweek but that isn't convenient for us what with holiday bookings at work. Still pleasantly surprised by low price though, considering stuff mentioned earlier in my post.

I took my first Easyjet flight-ever gong to Faro(two weeks back) and I have to say I was very pleased. A very good airline and very pleasant cabin crew.

Trouble is I don't know what I'm doing next week, let alone next year.

Just booked 2 flights from Liverpool normaly use Manchester, for early Jan and April both flights worked out £60 and £115 cheaper even accounting for car parking fees at £28 and £39 it's a good deal Monarch from Manchester were a distant 2nd with Jet2 no where in sight.

Moving further south - Ryanair will shake up the Gatwick route pricing model - make no mistake. I have two return flights booked in November - €23 and €27 each return journey (booked them two months ago - no hold baggage).

Before booking flights I looked at Ryan Air and their special offers.

They were in fact more expensive ( not by much ) , The issue is that Ryan still do not include taxes etc in their lead in prices where as EJ do.

Same for us 5, Monarch from Manchester normally the choice but almost double Easyjet...we got Easter ( 5 people £500 return) and August (5 people £800 return) with Easyjet from Liverpool for less than Monarch cost for just summer and it will save me a packet with a smaller duty free...I might well get some earache but its worth it

I suspect Monarch (and possibly others) from Manchester to Faro are about to get a boost in 2011. TUI Thomson have ceased providing Saturday flights on this route. They now only offer Thursday or Sunday flights for 2011. Both days have one flight only and they leave late afternoon and land back in Manchester late at night.
Previous years they have had an early morning Saturday flight arriving Faro around 10-30 am with return flight arriving Manchester around 2-15 pm.
