Well I wish Sharon and David very good luck :)
But I shall miss Hazel and Murray very much :(
Hazel was very good to me one night.....I was followed by a Russian, a big man, and I went into Hemmingways..he followed me. I told Pat behind the bar and they refused to serve him.
But the scary thing was he was waiting outside. So Hazel and a man sitting at the bar walked me home..in fact Hazel came up to my apartment with me to make sure I was safe. Wasn't that good of them?
Yes I will miss Hazel & Murray a lot :(

Is this the same Russian that followed you four times before on this forum or a different one?

The man on our ferry trip to Santander was an Arab!He asked me if I had a cabin on board...when I told Hub he said he was probably looking for a bed for the night!

The Russian was in Colombos at the bar..he was watching me. When I left there he stepped out of the shadows in Smilers..he followed me to the beach and then he followed me up the out road..so I dived into Hemmingways...
thats when Hazel and a man at the bar escorted me back to my apartment(very kind of them)...and Hazel took me up to my apartment to make sure I was safe.God bless them :)

Best of luck to Sharon and David, and the bar was very busy on Saturday afternoon, so they're doing a good job....just keep your eye out for any dubious looking Russians :?

ONe of our regular habits when in cVo is to walk into town on Sunday morning to buy the Sunday Times .

We used to stop at Hemmingways for a coffee until for some reason they changed their opening hours to 12.00 or later.
Lets hope that the new managers take advantage of those like us who had to go elsewhere for our coffee etc and open earlier.

Are you surprised I was scared bugsey? This was very late, after Midnight and the man followed me..he was a very big man... he even waited for me to come out of Hemingways, standing under the lamplight opposite.
I was so pleased that Hazel and man at bar walked me home......
to say I was scared is an understatement.................................

It's better to be paranoid and safe than totally unaware of situations and people around you, I'd be paranoid and scared too Ellie!

Have to disagree, we went in around 11.30 one sunday morning, Murray was there told us not ready to open until 12.

Have been past on more than one occaison and it has been closed. Went next door for coffee.
