I have invited e-richard to help us with forum moderation, to keep the forum running in a friendly and helpful way. I am very grateful that e-richard has accepted and believe you'll all agree that he is a good choice :-)

He was mean to me the other day and deliberately misquoted one of my posts.

So I am very glad I turned the other cheek now that he is a VIP :D :D :D

I must have had a premonition!

Having checked this out and proving my memory correct, e-richard was the first person to reply to my first question on the site which regarding Monte Santos - I thought what a nice helpful man and what a nice site - I'll stay.

So you see, it's all his fault! :P

Gee thanks for all the good wishes and kind words. They are all very reassuring.

I genuinely hope to have very little work to do. Other than purging the dreaded spammers, I'm all in favour of debate and discussion, and along with most others, I do enjoy reading heated differences of opinion.

Provided they remain differences of opinion and not personal attacks, my intervention should be unnecessary.

Its probably worth re-reading this post periodically
You are free to disagree with others, but if you stoop to personal abuse or attacks, your post(s) will be deleted.
Finally, I'd also like to encourage more visitors to join in and participate, and based on a lot of personal experience with many forums, there is nothing more off-putting to a new user than to be confronted with an apparently incestuous crowd who argue bitterly about one another. I'm not asking anyone to tone down their opinions, I think extreme opinions add character to the forum. I'm just suggesting that many new readers who may not know the personalities frequently referred to, are quite put off joining in - lets give these new folks some consideration too. They are tomorrow's witty and interesting posters.
