We are arriving tomorrow afternoon, just wondering if supermarket is open all day. Need to stock up on essentials before the holiday can begin.

Why don't you try Pingo Doce , on right just after the roundabout at Lagoa as you head toward CVO. It's cheaper, has excellent fresh veg, good fish, meat & deli counters ( try their smoked ham & the cheapest piri-piri ). Good bakery selection too!

yep pingo is the best for price - their irish aberdeen angus!!! rib eye at €8.9/kg is wonderful!
