We are staying in a villa in Benagil, can we get off the motorway before Lagoa and still do the 'u' turn and then go down beside the school to get on the road to Benagil ?

Yes you can come off motorway at Alcantarilha ( think its junct 7) on to roundabout on 125, passed water park and along to International school and then you know the turn at lights to Benagil road

Please do not as someone we followed a couple of weeks ago, brake suddenly and turn left off the 125.
Clearly the directions they were given did not explain that you have to do a U turn via the school lights
