we are over in two weeks time and counting down to blast off. Last year we came end of August and it was HOT!! lovely!

Thank god 5 weeks and counting down the days.
We went last year for the first two weeks in September that was lovely.

If I recall, Gary came out last year in July as well - he found it hot as well - only by the boot up his rear-end as he got thrown out off establishment after establishment for trying to con them for free breakfasts or use of their pools! Happy days - I hope you have him under control, Gaynor - and hope these people don't remember him - otherwise you won't get into anywhere

Got as far as Monte Santo if I remember ..... didn't get through the gates for looking like a tramp!

I've always found the fat, hairy bearded look works - sympathy abounds as they assume you're homeless or daft or something!

By the way, the curly locks don't go too well with the thinning crown

Just got out of the pool, great big, dark thundery clouds passing overhead, I think they're rumbling over towards Carvoeiro's direction. Only slight spattering of warm rain though.
