"He took the venom of a Rattler

The stinger of a Bee

He wrapped 'em up in one old Gal

And palmed her off on me"

Or, to put it another way...

Gaily bedight,
A gallant knight,
In sunshine and in shadow,

Had journeyed long,
Singing a song,

In search of Eldorado.

But he grew old —
This knight so bold —

And o'er his heart a shadow

Fell, as he found
No spot of ground

That looked like Eldorado.

And, as his strength
Failed him at length,

He met a pilgrim shadow —

'Shadow,' said he,
'Where can it be —

This land of Eldorado?'

'Over the Mountains
Of the Moon,

Down the Valley of the Shadow,

Ride, boldly ride,'
The shade replied, —

'If you seek for Eldorado!'

Tra la! It's May!
The lusty month of May!

That lovely month when ev'ryone goes
Blissfully astray

Tra la! It's here!
That shocking time of year!

When tons of wicked little thoughts
Merrily appear

It's May! It's May!
That gorgeous holiday

It's mad! It's gay!
A libelous display

Those dreary vows that ev'ryone takes

Ev'ryone breaks

Ev'ryone makes divine mistakes

The lusty month of May!

La la! It's May!
The lusty month of May!

That darling month when ev'ryone throws
Self-control away

It's time to do
A wretched thing or two

And try to make each precious day
One you'll always rue

It's May! It's May!
The month of "yes, you may,"

The time for ev'ry frivolous whim
Proper or "im"

It's wild! It's gay!
A blot in ev'ry way

The birds and the bees with all of their vast
Amorous past

Gaze at the human race aghast

The lusty month of May!

( May was my Second Ex-Wife.....You have been warned)

(And you might keep an eye on April too...she left me for May..and broke my heart for at least 15 minutes. )

What we want to know Coop..have you moved onto 'June' yet? :)

Some words from 'our Will'(Shakespeare)

It was a lover and his lass
With a hey and a ho and a hey nonino
That over the green cornfield did pass
'In spring time, the only pretty ring time,
When birds do sing, hey ding a ding ding
Sweet lovers love the spring! :)

Not quite...'lusty' enough for me.....Im going in search of Geoffrey (Chaucer) :)
