Does anyone know of any dinghy sailing schools in the Algarve? - I don't think there are any but would be delighted to be proved wrong - and if there aren't any, have I spotted a business opportunity?

There is an active club in Lagos and also one in Villamoura ?

Thanks Jeremy - they are yachts (that I am happy to sail) but my son has got into dinghys (lasers etc).

EMM - any idea of how to contact the clubs in Lagos or Villamoura?

I often see a flotilla of Optomists training off Portimao, they seem well organised with acouple of rib rescue boats always in attendance.

There are sailing schools (escolas de vela) in Portimão (282 417 529), Vilamoura (289 302 536/7) and Lagos (282 762 256) if that's any help!
