Now that the wife has got her Gazella sorted (intermarche have restocked) I thought all was going well but no, calamity has struck.
She is a big fan (actually more of a stalker to be honest) of Ray who used to play in Mungos on a Thursday. I understand that Mungos has lost it's music licence and therefore no Ray night! - Does anyone know any other venues where he plays, or if Mungos is likely to get the music licence back so that Ray can return?
Thanks
Graham

That's odd - it was the owner that told my wife he had lost his licence. Is Ilsa playing in Mungos or in the square?
(and does anyone know where Ray has gone

)

It appears that thoase who used play inside Mungos now play in the square outside. It has created a new family venue and many more can enjoy it.
Ilze was there on saturday night.

I believe three of the bars now share the cost for the entertainment, definitely gives the little square a great feel

That’s right Graham, he (Dan) told me that the tenants of the apartments above him had ganged up and complained about the noise, (God knows who they complain to now that the music is outside). I believe he was having to apply for his music license on a weekly basis from the Camera. I also think he was having trouble with his drinks license.

Ditzy, he told me the same as you, also has had complaints and one night when we were there the Police did come and we all had to go inside, think he said music outside can go on until 1, out again next week so will ask him.

As someone who has apartment near Mungos I am not surprised at the complaints - it must be even louder for those in the apartments above. If it has moved outside it will probably be even worse, and should stop at midnight. Not everyone in the area is on holiday - some people are locals who need to get up and go to work in the morning.
